Kanye’s New Video – Happy Tears ðŸ¥¹

2–3 minutes
This is so precious. It was exactly what I needed today. I was making the rounds posting content across social media, and feeling anxious (I’m starting to wonder if I have social anxiety. I choose to have a public platform, but it gets overwhelming at times. I’m working on a healthier way of dealing than just isolating). I took a break to watch this, and it was like all of my anxiety just melted away. Seeing Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign with their daughters brought tears to my eyes. Of all the inconsequential things celebrities do that we pay attention to, what could be more important to highlight than family right now? Arguably a list of things, sure. But love is what we need, and this video is a reminder that yo these super rich famous people are human too and they need love too. We all do.

I think it’s funny how we can have so much to say about what famous folks are doing and not doing, when we’re just talking about strangers. And the information we get is from other strangers who don’t know the celebrities any better than we do. Information is passed from stranger to stranger, and I just don’t believe the whole truth gets disseminated. So I don’t really trust gossip, nor do I like to do it. Still I find myself in these conversations about strangers; I guess it’s hard to ignore the leaders in our world.

Same time, I think we should have conversations about each other. I just don’t want to be talking badly about people for no reason. Especially knowing the fault I find in others can be a reflection of myself. I aim to learn from other people, and I tend to see the good more than the bad. The glass is half full whether you say so or not.

Anyway, I think Ye and Ty’s daughters look healthy and cared for. And that makes me happy. I also think it’s cute how their daughters look just like the fathers. Life is amazing. And family is beautiful. I love the humanness of this video. The emphasis isn’t on any material things – it’s like saying “look at us for who we really are – members of a family as well as artists.” We tend to forget that artists are humans. I’ll always advocate for remembering that. And that’s that on that. Cheers to you all, and God bless.
