It’s finally done. How to play CN TOWER by Drake x PARTYNEXTDOOR on piano, the written tutorial.

I also want to mention that this arrangement focuses on the first half of the song, which I felt the most drawn too. Now that I’ve materialized my love for it, I actually like the second half a lot more and I can see myself figuring out how to play it as well.

Zen Reflections

I’m really overjoyed that I did this because it’s an accumulation of 15+ years of working with music.
To be able to play by ear, play multiple instruments, work with music theory and come up with answers to my own questions, these are all things I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid.
And I’ve been doing them that long, but I second guessed myself for a long time because I do most of my work in isolation. This may sound absurd, but I realized the other day that I didn’t value my work. There have been moments I felt numb to it, which I didn’t understand.
Sharing my work with others is really the final piece of it, and I think I stifled my expression by holding too much of it in.
First I had to overcome fearing being judged, then I had to figure out ways to express myself that feel honest.
Being myself truly is my ideal definition of success.
